Dr Steven Hatcher is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in surgery of the Foot, Ankle and Knee.

Dr Hatcher obtained his basic medical degree at the University of Leeds, UK and began surgical training there, becoming a member of both the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and of Edinburgh. He moved to Queensland in 2001 and continued his Advanced Orthopaedic Training. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009.

From January 2009 to January 2010, he returned to England to undertake further advanced training in foot and ankle surgery. This 12 month Fellowship added to his experience in all aspects of adult foot and ankle surgery, including ankle joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, deformity correction and trauma.

Dr Hatchers’ practice focuses on Foot, Ankle and Knee surgery and he provides a service dealing with deformity, arthritis, sports and trauma surgery of the lower limb.

Dr Hatcher currently has a public appointment at the Queen Elizabeth II hospital.
