Dr Jhamb was educated in Brisbane and received his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1994 and awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2004.

Further experience was then gained by completing a fellowship in hand and wrist surgery at the Sydney Hospital and a fellowship in shoulder surgery (both arthroscopic and open) at the Prince of Wales Hospital in 2006.

The focus of his practice is hand, wrist and shoulder surgery.

Dr Jhamb has a public appointment at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
